Sue offers Personal Training and Pilates as well as Nutritional Guidance
Personal Training and Pilates
At Outrageously Fit Personal Training Studio in Ballard, Sue offers Personal Training services and a Pilates mat class.
Because of Sue's background teaching Pilates, she often includes Pilates-based exercises in her clients' workouts.
Sue approaches Personal Training from the perspective that fitness begins by strengthening the core and always includes balance work, as well as strengthening. Strength training is important at any age, but particularly important for adults as they reach their 40's and beyond to maintain strong bones and healthy joints.
At Young Pilates Studio on Queen Anne, Sue can teach you strictly Pilates, or combine Pilates with other strength training exercises using free weights, the Bosu, and the Exercise Ball.
Pilates is a great exercise modality and works great as your main exercise, or as cross-training to enhance other activities, including daily living. Many people are attracted to Pilates because of the many postural benefits. Considering that many people spend a good part of their days either in front of a computer, holding and feeding babies and small children, or other activities that affect posture, Pilates is hugely beneficial to everyone of any age!
