Sorry, no kids

Do you want to workout with other moms who all have a lot in common? Maybe some of your friends already take the classes, or you would like to meet other moms on QA.  This class has a great reputation for being fun and a good workout!

Pilates is the best way to strengthen and tone your core muscles.  During pregnancy and after childbirth, no matter how long ago you gave birth, your body has gone through numerous changes, including weakening and stretching the abdominals and pelvic floor muscles, often stressing the back muscles, and tightening the front of the shoulders and chest muscles.

Moms deserve to focus their attention on themselves for part of the day, especially when it comes to their health and physical fitness.

This class incorporates reformer, chair, and mat techniques to firm up those abs, legs, buns, and upper body muscles, burn calories, and improve your posture, flexibility, and more.

Minimum of 4 people to make a class, maximum of 5  Instructor: Sue Bream, Certified Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer

Pilates For Breast Cancer Survivors

Where/When? This class was taught in the fall of 2009.This program was open to all Breast Cancer Survivors!  We offered scholarships to all participants.

Look for more classes like this in the future!

This class was our opportunity to give back to the community in a meaningful way and to help make a difference in the lives of our friends and neighbors. By deferring the cost of the class for participants, we hotped to make it accessible to some women with breast cancer who really wants to try Pilates but may not be able to afford it right now.  Pilates has many benefits for women with breast cancer who have had surgery, received radiation and/or chemo, and are feeling the effects from any or all of those plus feeling like they really need to reconnect with their bodies.

"The pilates class today was excellent.  I really enjoyed learning and doing the exercises.  Sue is a fabulous instructor and I look forward to next week's class."  --Sarah

Strength Training

Strength Conditioning and the Fitness Ball
There is currently room for one more participant!

Learn the benefits of working out with the Fitness Ball. Improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Class will use free weights and bands in addition to the fitness ball and a variety of fun and challenging exercises to reach your fitness goals.

This class is basically small-group personal training where everyone works out according to their own plan.  Ideas are shared among the group, so there is never a shortage of new exercises to try.

Currently, this class is made up of a small group of women who are very dedicated to exercise and supportive of each other.  They welcome new members!
It is hard to believe that at 6 a.m., friendships could flourish, sweat could pour, and workouts could be fullfilling, but this group proves that it all can happen!

We are pretty much at maximum capacity, but if you are interested, inquire anyway and we may be able to fit you in!

Where?  Outrageously Fit Personal Training Studio

Tu/Th 6-7 a.m.
